Got up: 8am
Breakfast: Peanut Butter & Marmite on toast
I had an exam at 2pm today, so I left the house at around 9ish and spent the day studying. *sighs* There's only so many times you can read through the TCA cycle and Glycolysis before you want to smash you head against the desk until unconsciousness takes you, just to avoid reading through it all again! T_T Although it was improved by the fact that I had a bottle filled with delicious liquid!
On the way to the exam I got a bit lost helping my friend Laura find her exam room (the class was split due to size issues) which only goes to show how confusing the campus is, considering I've been studying there for 2 and a half years now. >_>
Overall, I think the exam went really well, two of the three questions were the ones I was hoping would come up, so that's good.
After the exam I went to the uni coffee shop with Beth, a friend from college who I hadn't seen for about a month. It was good to catch up. The other day I introduced her to Marble Hornets, via facebook, without explaining what it was. So talk about that was fun too xD.
I got home around 6pm, and then spent the rest of the evening playing Persona 3 Portable. My dad made Lasagna for tea, which was cool, but the pasta...slices? were a bit al dente, and I prefer them to be a bit more cooked. lol
Well, that was my day, so I'll sign off. Not got many plans for tomorrow, so I'll probably have to find something else to talk about rather than just recapping what I did. Actually...that'll probably be a lot more interesting too! xD

Ok, I made a new years resolution to start getting into a more normal sleeping pattern, to eat breakfast and to generally be more efficient at life (I figure with a resolution that vague, how could I fail). Unfortunately for the past 9 days I've fail on pretty much al of those points. =/
So basically I decided to start regularly updating this blog with the things I'm doing, mostly so I can keep track of what I'm doing and make sure I'm not slacking too much (good luck with that xD). It's after midnight, so I'm specifying now that this is the post for monday the 10th of january.
I woke at 9am, which was weird, cause I set my alarm for 8am. I must have turned it off without waking up. =/ I don't blame me though, I was having an...interesting dream. It started with me as The Doctor, arriving in a fortress/castle type place, helping British soldiers defend against nazis. Once they were defeated (I can't remember how, but I THINK it involved water somehow) the British forces stole my Tardis and locked me in a dungeon. Then suddenly I was Bart Simpson, watching Dr Who on TV. Then we (the Simpsons) left to go to court, where we had to convince the judge (the female one voiced by the mum from Malcom in the Middle) that Homer was a single parent, because he'd get more money from the government. We managed to this (I'm not sure how, since Marge was with us) and left, but they drove off without me. And then suddenly I was myself, and realised that the next episode of Dr Who was on soon, but I was in my old secondary school (which despite being only five minutes away from my house in real life, was miles away in the dream). I saw my cat, Loki, who I decided must know the fastest way home. So I turn myself INTO a cat and followed him. Evenually we made it home, snuck in through an open window and then sat down to watch the new episode. At which point I woke up.
Read into that dream what you will. =P
ANYWAY, when I got up, I went on my laptop and set about finishing the lab report which had to be handed in today (yesterday technically but whatever, I haven't slept yet so to me it's the same day). Once I'd done that I went down stairs around 10ish and had peanut butter and marmite on toast for breakfast, which was awesome. =D I haven't had that for months.
After caught up with a few things online, including a web comic that brought up a VERY interesting and important question. Pokemon are born from eggs. And yet the pokedex claims that Cubone wears it's mother's skull on it's head as a mask. So, does the mother just not a have a skull after that? Despite the fact it's still alive and in your team? Maybe all marowaks have no skull, and they need the mask they wear as an exoskeleton.
After that i met up with my finance (Rachel) in town and we got the metro to newcastle, where I handed in my lab report with literally a minute to spare. xD We then had lunch at Yo Sushi, I LOVE sushi! =D
After that Rachel went to do some uni work in the library and I promptly escaped home on the metro (Study? You mad?). After killing a bit more time in youtube and MSN I head of to meet up with a friend, with the intention of getting some editing of the second part of our Alone in the Dark 2008 review. Sadly that was not to be, as we ended up watching Rude Tube 4oD, and then later South Park as well as random internet browsing.
The I come home and wrote a blog, or am writing one. Or something.
After that I plan to go to bed, as it's almost 1am and I have an exam at 2pm tomorrow (today, shut up!). Joy. >_>
I have no idea what form these posts will be taking in the future. I may just recap my day, I might end up ranting about something that's particularly annoyed me that day, or might review something that I've been playing/reading/watching. We'll see. I can't guarantee it'll be interesting, or funny, or worth reading. But what do I care, it's not like I have to read it. Only write it, proof read it (and then feel stupid when countless typos and spelling mistakes make it in there anyway) and then live with that fact that it makes little difference, because there's only gonna be one or two people reading it, and they probably already know what I've done during the day.
But yeah, bed timez! Wish me luck in the exam!

Hahahahaha. Finally caught up with my stupid late start. To tired for any lengthy post, so I', just gonna mention that in the end I raised about $105 which is about £67. Now for a nap, at the very least! xD
20 past three, and thanks to amusing my self my mix numbers and words in times, coffee and Phoenix Wright explaining how the a Jury works, I'm not feeling too tired.
I also find it highly amusing when present evidence to imagine Apollo walking up the people shouting "I HAZ BADGE!!"

Had a coffee, and so feeling less tired now. lol
Still on Apollo Justice, and am liking Apollo more as a character than I did on my first play through. Phoenix is still better in every way though. xD

Ok, so, after aproximatly 10 hours of game time (I have a break for lunch and for tea, plus a delay in starting thanks to the PSN...) I drag myself away from the screen to post a blog. xD
I played on Dragon age for most of that time, probably for about 8 hours (fitting). And then decided to try something else, but then couldn't decide what to go on...I was stuck.
And then an old friend came to save the day. ^_^I finally gave in to the demands of my inner child (I'm actually impressed I held out this long) and bought Sonic 4. It cost me around £5 (the actual price was 9.99 but I had cash already on my PSN account, and I don't count tat as cost as once it's on my account I can only use it on PSN anyway.)
The first 15 minutes were spent internally (and externally, to myself) complaining about how they changed the physics to make Sonic slightly more sticky. ie, he speeds up slower, and handles worse in the air, which I have to admit makes sense, as hedgehogs aren't really known for being aerodynamic.
Anyway, about 10 minutes after that, after celebrating getting the second emerald, I realised I was actually enjoying it. And it didn't end there. After I got over the engoyment of playing the Sonic 1 style special stages, I got to the casino zone, which was the second one, and spent about an hour getting throught all three acts. I can honestly say that I havent enjoyed a Sonic game this much in over ten years. And I was happy to notice that one of the trophies is gain by completing a level as Super Sonic! ^_^
I do have to admit that the two zones I've seen are practically just old zones remixed, but there was always at least one new thing in each act to make up for that, And while the bosses are made painfully easy by the Homing Attack, it's ok cause Eggman never really had a chance anyway.
But enough gushing about the new Sonic game, I need to get back to actual gaming.
I'm coming off Sonic for now, and am gonna play Ace Attorney 4 for the DS.
Get ready...IT'S TIME FOR JUSTICE! xD

I decided that to make sure I actually played for the full 24 hours, I set up a stopclock on a random stopclock site, to cout down from 24 hours, that way can pause it when ever I'm not play, such as now, or when I got to get food. But thanks to PSN updates and game patches I am currently an hour behind where I should be. >_>
I've said it once and I'll say it again...Curse you, linear passage of time...CURSE YOU!!! >_<

Buenos Tardes!
In about 5 mins I'll be starting a 24 hour gameathon. Yes it's as nerdy as it sounds.
BUT unlike the 24 hour readathon, this actually for charity. So far I've raise about £55 which is going to Children's Miracle Network (http://www.childrensmiraclenetwork.org/i ndex.aspx), which give money to children's hospitals all around the world.
I've spent the last half an hour installing games it's likely I'll play onto my 360 (thank got for the larger harddrive I bought a few months ago.
I've got a load of online games sorted as I'll be joining Blank the Mage (http://blankthemage.livejournal.com/) who is also taking part, and will also be blogging every now and then.
Gotta go, time to start, my first game will be Dragon Age for the PS3.
See ya!

GAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! *sighs* Now that that's out of my system....*sighs* You think I'd learn...but noooooo, I have to be optimistic! I have to live in HOPE! How could I NOT after watching these two trailers...

So, okay Sega, lets see how you plan to ruthlessly crush my dreams this time. =/ A forced section of gameplay where Shadow decides that running at the speed of sound isn't "cool" enough so he has to get in his car a drive by his enemies? An area where you decide that having a varied selection of characters with different abilities and varied gameplay is to EFing complicated so you throw them all in one horrible mess where every "team" is the same and we're forced to play every single painfully linear level four times?! Oh I know! How about a SERIES of games where you NOT ONLY choose to stomp all over the hedgehog that I am perfectly comfortable admitting was my childhood hero, but also take some classic myths, folklore and literature, like Arabian Nights or King Arthur and trample all over them with your horrible plot ruining, dream crushing boots! But, you see, that's not enough I don't think you levels are linear enough, so you make this series into a rail based game were Sonic just automatically runs on a set path, and all the player has to do is jump at the right time. AND THEN! I think idea Sonic jumping on his enemies, something that has been the standard of the series, isn't "cool" enough either, so why not give him a sword, and since Sonic is all about speed, lets make it swing 10 times slower than the pace he runs at, making timing the swings on this running based QTE so out sync with when you actually get to the enemies that you have have to be either psychic or just play by trail and error. BUT NO THAT'S NOT ENOUGH EITHER, I KNOW! LETS MAKE THE SWORD TALK! Or how about we fix the running so that you control how and where Sonic runs, and actually put some effort into making the levels varied and interesting...but then we'll only use this strange concept (fast, fun AND interesting? What do you think this is? Some kind of enterainment medium?) for half the game. The other half you could turn Sonic into a hogwolf (a werehog would be a human that turns into a hedgehog as were = man) and we'll make him slow, tedious and stretchy arms, you know, JUST LIKE IN THE ACTUAL WEREWOLF MYTHOS!? o_O SO BRING IT ON SEGA, I'M READY! SURPRISE ME! SHOW THE NEW LEVELS YOU'LL SINK TO TO FURTHER DRAG MY CHERISHED CHILDHOOD HERO THROUGH THE MUD!
I'm not bitter, honest. =/
